SCHILLER Enhances Public Safety By Installing AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) FRED® PA-1 at Vile Parle and Santacruz Railway Stations in Mumbai

SCHILLER, with a steadfast commitment to saving lives irrespective of location and circumstances, is pleased to announce the successful installation of FRED® PA-1, an Automatic External Defibrillator at Vile Parle and Santacruz railway stations in Mumbai.

The initiative by the Rotary Club of Bombay Airport, led by president and cardiologist Dr. Akshay Mehta aims to enhance public safety and emergency response capabilities at high-traffic railway stations. The FRED® PA-1 is a state-of-the-art automated external defibrillator (AED) designed to provide immediate life-saving assistance in the event of sudden cardiac arrests. The installations were strategically placed in the station superintendent’s room in Vile parle and Santacruz stations ensuring 24/7 accessibility and quick response in case of emergencies. The staff and public also received training in recognition and response to cardiac arrest with hands-on practice of CPR.

“We are proud to contribute to the well-being of the community through the installation of SCHILLER’s FRED® PA-1 units at these crucial railway stations,” said Dr. Akshay Mehta (Interventional Cardiologist).

We look forward to seeing more such installations at every railway station of India.
