Quality Assurance Manager – Puducherry

JOB SUMMARY

Overall responsibility for detail oriented quality assurance specialist and to be in charge of all quality assurance activities functioning of QA in Medical devices based in Puducherry Facility.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree – Electronic & communication or related subject
• Strong knowledge of software QA Methodologies (kaizen, TDRE & DMAIC), tools (PFMEA, PQCS, CQCS & SPC)
• Work experience in software quality assurance
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.

EXPERIENCE: 5 – 10 Years experience in quality management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing management and control of the quality assurance process and ensuring all process are controlled and monitored.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Liaise with process owners to identify process improvements
• Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
• Track quality assurance metrics to track improvement in products, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs and also perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved in co – ordination with QC team
• Develop and apply testing process for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Adhere to industry quality, laws and safely standards
• Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
• Processing and Documenting quality audits and quality assurance reviews.
• Training and mentoring quality control team
• Lead risk management team to systematically mitigate process related risk
• Making recommendations for improvement
